In January 2026, the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control published its updated Climate Action Plan for the next five years. The 2025 Climate Action Plan is a practical playbook to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, protect communities, and ensure the First State thrives in the face of a changing climate. The 2025 Plan serves as a comprehensive update to the 2021 Plan and is focused on achieving the goals established in the Climate Change Solutions Act of 2023.
