PrepareDE is Delaware’s official emergency readiness initiative. It provides guidelines, downloadable resources, and contacts for preparing for and responding to emergency events.

Using PrepareDE, you can:

• Prepare an emergency evacuation plan that considers your home, your pets, and your loved ones
• Build an emergency supply kit to use in the event of disaster, power loss, unsafe travel conditions, or extended shelter-in-place orders
• Distinguish key differences between emergency types
• Identify an evacuation route using PrepareDE’s Know Your Zone tool
